The L’Oréal group and its corporate offices engaged Eureka Time Agency’s services due to our digital expertise. They trusted us to accompany the group through the process of establishing an international digital presence for their corporate communication needs.

With the emergence of social media, the L’Oréal group required insight into which social media strategy to adopt, as at the time they were not present on social media networks. The aim of the project was to establish an international digital presence for the group focused on corporate communication.

Our consulting aims consisted of:

  • defining the structure of the brand’s digital presence to be established on social media on an international scale
  • articulating a corporate communication strategy (both presence and organisation), including elements of both digital communication and the digital presence of product brands.

 

Our recommendations from Eureka Time Agency focussed on finding:

  • the best approach to adopt for appropriate and effective digital corporate communication,
  • the preferred corporate communication routes to create captive audiences on social networks.

 

CORPORATE COMMUNICATION ROUTES

 

The L’Oréal group followed our recommendations by centring their corporate communication around messages and actions that promote the employer brand of the group and develop its attractiveness to the online generation.

In terms of corporate communication, the brand uses Facebook as a medium to promote the group’s values and also as a talent recruitment tool via its international page L’Oréal Careers.

The page has more than 250,000 fans interested in the career opportunities the group offers.

 

PROMOTION OF THE EMPLOYER BRAND

L’Oréal Group has established a strong digital presence on LinkedIn. Its LinkedIn page is one of the most followed pages, with close to nearly 900,000 subscribers to the group’s corporate news feed.

The L’Oreal Group diffuses its campaigns and corporate communication messages and career opportunities within the group and its international subsidiaries.

They also emphasize the group’s value of excellence and their innovation and R&D efforts as the leading beauty group in 130 countries.
