IKEA Digital Social Media Strategy
IKEA France Marketing direction, Communication direction, HR direction and Customer Relationships direction have requested Eureka Time to carry out strategic digitalisation and digital social media strategy projects supported by the French Head Office.
We intervened as digital and social media consultants experts for IKEA France after competing against Publicis, one of the account’s agencies.
The project with IKEA France consisted on defining and implementing IKEA digital social media strategy and department. Our actions consisted in doing a global social media audit, giving advices, preparing studies, trainings and driving the change.
We prepared a global audit of IKEA´s international social media uses, including a micro and macro vision of the sector’s best practices. We presented a 3-year social media strategy based on a global vision of social media and yearly objectives.
We also advocated a strategy and urged to create a transverse and agile team dedicated to digital and social media.
We defined the processes within the different teams and departments to simplify internal collaborations and focused on a user-centered approach.
We help the Customer Relations Department in their digital transformation project. We enable everyone by helping them acquire a deep understanding of the digital world and by integrating social media as a privileged customer relationships channel.
We train everyone within the organisation, from the Executive Committee to operational employees on digital transformation, its issues and impacts on daily work life and its best practices.
